Joao Barbosa won the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen for the second consecutive time, this time in the company of Christian Fittipaldi. It was also the second consecutive win of the Luso-Brazilian duo in Grand-Am.
Barbosa and Fittipaldi dominated the second half of the race with the Corvette DP Action Express Racing, Fittipaldi but had to apply the command to defend the last few laps because I was being attacked by Michael Valiante in the new issue of Corvette DP of 8 Star. The Starworks completed the podium.
Filipe Albuquerque was only 9th in GT, the Audi R8, while Rui Aguas stood up the 10th position, returning to Ferrari. Pedro Lamy was 13, asked last minute to try the BMW M3 for Turner Motorsports.
